Can today Ukraine to celebrate their Independence Day, but at the same time it’s six months since the invasion of Russia.
Six months have passed since Russian tanks crossed the Ukrainian border after Vladimir Putin’s loud speech. The news “fever” of the early days has now changed, the war in Ukraine is not a daily topic of discussion, horror is now a habit amid other problems that have arisen since the invasion (such as the energy crisis and inflation).
In the meantime, however, atrocities against civilians continue, the death toll is rising, millions of refugees have fled their homeland, and Ukrainian cities have been reduced to rubble.
The war itself went through several stages: from the initial cold-blooded and then heroic resistance of the Ukrainians to a change in Russian strategy and its successes on the eastern front.
Now he is back in a new phase. Just as there has been a lack of movement in the West on this issue (after a flurry of sanctions against Russia) and citizens now have other priorities due to accuracy, so the dispute between Ukraine and Russia seems to have fallen into a quagmire.
A quagmire as dangerous as the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant has been in the spotlight of late, and at the same time harbors a heavy cloud of deepening energy and food crises. At the same time, the Russians are trying to establish a status quo in the territories they occupied in the Donbass and the Black Sea, while the Ukrainians continue to succeed with scattered attacks on the enemy.
Before you is a photo album with moments of a six-month war in Ukraine.
