“In February, the Russians planned a parade in the center of Kyiv. After 6 months of full-scale war, the shameful display of rusty Russian metal is a reminder to all dictators that their plans can be destroyed by a free and brave nation,” the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said in a video post.

In the images, which the Ukrainians claim are armored vehicles, some in a very worn and rusted condition, some of the vehicles retaining Russian Z markings, Kyivans can be seen walking between them or even climbing on top of them.

So far, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military has destroyed more than 1,900 tanks, more than 4,200 units of armored vehicles and 1,018 units of artillery.
