
Two foreigners were arrested yesterday (August 17) in the afternoon by members of the security department of the Athens Airport Police Department for aggravated theft as a result of complicity at the airport.
According to EL.AS, yesterday morning, two defendants were in the arrivals hall of the airport and took her bag from abroad, which contained 5 passports, wireless headphones, a charger and a wallet with credit cards, check books, personal documents, cash amount and three bracelets.
After an investigation by the police, two foreigners were found in a hotel in the southern suburbs of Attica and arrested. During the searches, among other things, a mobile phone, bags, 3 pairs of sunglasses, wallets, jewelry, gold, 955 euros, 10 US dollars were found and confiscated. and 10 Croatian kunas.
In addition, 4 passports were found, confiscated from a foreigner whose bag was stolen.
Those arrested in the case brought against them were taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office of Athens.
