
California manufacturer Lucid has announced the launch of a new variant Bright air, on the occasion of Monterey Car Week, which is held this week in California, United States. The model will be unveiled on August 19, 2022, and Lucid has all but confirmed that this more powerful model will have three electric motors.
A series of teasers have indeed been posted on social media, with several references to the number 3 as well as parts of the three engines The most powerful Lucid Air never produced.

Lucid Air: a radical evolution
Lucid has released some blurry photos of the exterior of its upcoming model, which suggests that this new Lucid Air will feature new LED taillights. Indeed, this higher-performance variant will be visually different from the rest of the Air range, and may come with a special body kit.
According to rumors, this final version of the Lucid Air will develop a small thing 1632 horsepower (1200 kW), and could swallow Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds. Pretty impressive numbers for a production car.
Lucid Air: Coming in 2023
Currently, the most powerful version of the Lucid Air is the Grand Touring Performance, which already has two engines with a total output of 1,065 horsepower (783 kW). A limited edition “Dream Edition” Lucid Air offered 1,126 horsepower, but is no longer sold.
According to Lucid, there will be the first deliveries of this new final version of the electric sedan in 2023. If the success is there, the American manufacturer confirmed that it has been able to adapt the production according to the demand.
