Ancillary and one-time with accelerated procedures

In the issuance of additional pensions, there is a delay of even seven years, which is also another, new, large rate of his leadership Ministry of Labor and its management EFKA. The schedule provides for the issuance of new applications, with an accelerated procedure, three months after the issuance of the main one, which means that new pensioners will receive, if the goal is achieved, the main and additional pension within six months of the last one.

As for the maturity headroom, which in this case is also large, having exceeded 98,800 at the end of June 2022, it is assumed that the first significant de-escalation will occur by the end of this year, and liquidation will not be achieved. before the end of March – April 2023. Moreover, there are also very difficult cases, with consecutive and parallel employment in different funds, mostly self-employed (for example, legal, engineering, etc.), with clearing of competent services during this time of cases for the period 2015-2016. In order to reduce the backlog, it is planned according to “K”the creation of a new “strategy” similar to that created by the Minister of Labor Kostis Hatzidakis under the leadership of the project leader Michalis Kefalogiannis in the green building of Kifissia for the issuance of basic pensions.Auxiliary and one-time with accelerated procedures-1

In particular, the plan envisages that once the front of pending core pension applications is closed for the most part, e-EFKA will focus on drastically reducing the pending additional insurance pensions with centralized management from the new “control tower”, in order to to group cases, identify and resolve issues, and “run” mandatory schedules. It should be noted here that the previous payment of the basic pension is applied as an unshakable rule for the assignment of an additional pension. Therefore, when canceling or even the most drastic reduction of overdue applications for a basic pension, the procedures for issuing additional ones will also “run through”. In fact, it is now possible to apply for an auxiliary pension digitally, through their electronic services. electronic EFKA.

It is expected that their elimination will be achieved no earlier than the end of March-April 2023.

In addition, based on the recent legislative intervention of the Ministry of Labor, the accelerated procedure for issuing pensions also applies to supplementary pensions.

At the same time, it is planned to transfer 200 teachers from issuing basic pensions to issuing additional pensions. Thus, about 300 speakers will deal with issues of issuing additional pensions, compared to 100 at present. At the same time, it is also planned to institutionalize the possibility of issuing additional pensions by certified accountants – tax experts and lawyers who are already involved in issuing basic pensions.

According to data is represented by “K”, at the end of June 2022 there were 126,719 pending supplementary pension applications, of which 98,887 were overdue, with an estimated cost of €177.19 million. Of these, 39,087 concerned the state (30,394 overdue applications). It should be noted that at the end of 2017 there were 112,126 overdue applications for additional pensions for the private and public sector, with an estimated cost of 200.9 million euros.

In addition to supplementary pensions, approximately 8,581 outstanding one-off benefits will be requested with an average value per beneficiary of EUR 13,285, i.e. a total value of EUR 114 million. It should be noted that the law provides that new one-time payments must now be issued within six months from the date of submission of the relevant application.
