
Russian TV presenter Dmitry Nagiev will not participate in the filming of the new season of the program “Voice. 60+” on Channel One. “I’m not going to lead either in this version or another. This season, at least,” Nagiyev said in an interview with RBC news agency on Tuesday, Aug. 16.
Earlier, the Channel One press service reported that actress Larisa Guzeeva will become the new host of the Voice 60+ show. According to Channel One’s chief music and entertainment broadcast producer Yuri Aksyuta, a few seasons ago, along with Nagiyev, it was decided that “after ten years, he will take a creative break”.
Guzeeva, for her part, admitted that the offer to become a new TV show host came as a surprise to her and she was scared to go on stage after Nagiyev. However, she emphasized that she was ready for criticism in her speech.

Dmitry Nagiyev has been the permanent presenter of the Voice program since 2012. In February 2014, he served in the same role on the Voice project. Children, and since September 2018 has also started to present the Voice 60+ program.
As the RBC recalls, on the day that the massacres of civilians in the city of Bucha, near Kyiv, became known, Nagiyev published a post on the social network Instagram in which he wrote: “Maybe that’s enough”. He later posted a video in which he shaves his head with the words “we fight with ourselves” from the song “Train on Fire” by the group Aquarium.
According to Russian journalist Roman Super, Ivan Urgant’s late-night show could also disappear from Channel One’s air. There is a possibility that Urgant “will appear in a different format,” wrote Super on his Telegram channel.
