With my latest film James Bond, “No Time to Die” also closed a major chapter in the history of the film franchise as the longest-serving 007, namely Daniel Craig, “surrender weapons”.
There was a lot of talk about who could be the next James Bond and just as many rumors from time to time, however one actor who seemed to be the favorite for the part was Idris Elba.
So everything could point to the British actor being one of the most likely choices for the next film in the series, but the 49-year-old actor seems to be put an end to this opportunity after several years of negotiations, sources at the Sun said that Elba wanted to focus on making her own film project.
After all these discussions, of course, the actor kind of takes an informal part in the decision-making process, since his word and his opinion matter to the producers of James Bond.
However, according to the British betting company, one of the names claiming to be 007 is Henry Cavill whose name was heard again as he had been on the list of possible actors for the role for many years.
The second most likely upcoming 007 seems to be Rez-Jean Page which we saw in the series “Bridgerton” from Netflix.
Finally, there are also opportunities for the role Tom Hardy as well as James Norton.
According to the Daily Mail.
