After rains and storms, hot days will return with maximum temperatures reaching 35-36 degrees in some parts of the country around August 19, then it will cool down again, according to meteorologists, who on Monday published a weather forecast for the next two weeks.

The National Hydrometeorological Service published a monthly forecast for the period August 15-28:

The weather is gradually warming up, so on August 18-19, the average maximum temperature will be about 36 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 19…20 degrees. The weather will get colder in the coming days, so from August 20 to 24, the maximum temperature will be on average 28 to 30 degrees, and the minimum temperature will generally be 15 to 17 degrees. By the end of the forecast interval, temperature indicators will no longer have significant fluctuations and will average 30…31 degrees in the case of maximums and 16…17 degrees in the case of minimums. The chance of rain will be greater around August 16 and between August 19 and 21.

Chrysana

By approximately August 19, it will warm up, the average thermal maximum will reach 35…36 degrees, the minimum will be 18…20 degrees. However, it will get colder from August 20 to 23, the maximum temperature will be 27…29 degrees on average, and the minimum temperature will be 14…17 degrees. After that, there will be no significant air temperature fluctuations until the end of the forecast interval. From August 19 to 21, the probability of rain will be greater.

TRANSYLVANIA

The warming process will end around August 19, when the maximum temperature will reach 34 degrees on average, and the minimum will reach 17 degrees. In the next two days, the average maximum temperatures will decrease by approximately 7…8 degrees, the minimum by 2…4 degrees. In the future, there will be no significant fluctuations, the maximum temperature will average around 28 degrees, and the minimum will be 13 degrees. There will be conditions for rain almost every day, but over a wider area there will be a chance of rain at the start of the break and between 19th and 21st August.

Maramures

In the first three days, the average maximum temperature will be 30 degrees, in the next two it will warm up to 34…35 degrees, then, on August 20 and 21, it will decrease by 8…9 degrees. In the second week, temperature fluctuations will be insignificant, the maximum temperature will be on average from 27 to 29 degrees. As for the average minimum temperature, in the first week it will be from 16 to 18 degrees, then from 14 to 16 degrees. Rains are possible almost every day, but more likely on August 15-17 and August 19-21.

Moldova

Thermal maxima will increase until August 19, when their average temperature will reach 33…34 degrees. It will drop about 6 degrees over the next two days, then fluctuate a bit between 27 and 29 degrees by the end of the forecast range. The average minimum temperature will be 17 to 19 degrees in the first week and 15 to 17 degrees in the second. From August 15 to 22, the probability of rain will be greater.

DOBRODZHA

The weather will gradually warm up, so around August 19, the average maximum temperature will be about 32 degrees, the minimum will be 21…22 degrees. In the following days, it will get colder, and from August 22 to 28, the maximum temperature will average 28-30 degrees, and the minimum temperature will be 18-20 degrees. The probability of rain will be greater in the first days of the forecast and between August 20…22.

MUNTENIA

By about August 19, the weather will warm up to an average maximum temperature of about 36 degrees and a minimum of 18…20 degrees. However, it will get colder from August 20 to 23, the maximum temperature will be 29…32 degrees on average, the minimum temperature will be 17…19 degrees on average. After that, there will be no significant air temperature fluctuations until the end of the forecast interval. The highest chance of rain will be in the first two days of the forecast, as well as between August 20 and 23.

Olten

The warming process will end around August 19, when the maximum temperature will reach an average of 35…36 degrees, and the minimum will reach 19…20 degrees. In the next three days, the average maximum temperature will decrease by about 8 degrees, and the minimum – by 4 degrees. In the future, there will be no significant fluctuations, the maximum temperature on average will be close to 30 degrees, and the minimum will be 17 degrees. Showers are more likely in the first days of the forecast and again after August 19.

IN THE MOUNTAINS

It will warm up until about August 19, when the average maximum temperature will be about 26 degrees, minimum 13…15 degrees. In the following days, it will get colder, and from August 22 to 28, the maximum temperature will average 17-20 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 9-12 degrees Celsius. There will be showers almost every day, in the first two and between August 19 and 24 in larger areas.
