Andy Roddick believes that Nick Kyrgios can be compared to Nadal, Federer or Djokovic

Despite being knocked out by Hubert Gurkach in the quarter-finals of the Montreal Masters, Andy Roddick likens Nick Kyrgios to a ticking time bomb ready to explode.

“Listen to me, based on the game and the shots, Kyrgios is playing on a completely different level.

He has options, doesn’t he? We wonder if he will consistently attack or if he will lag a bit.

I think Kyrgios is able to adapt to whatever bad opponents do because he has a wide range of shots.

I think he’s the only one who can match the big three of this generation (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic), but I don’t know if he’ll ever break out. Played many matches.

Is it a time bomb? I’m interested to know” – Andy Roddick for the Tennis channel.

Wimbledon finalist and Washington champion Kyrgios (37 ATP) succumbed after an hour and 48 minutes to the Pole 7-6(4), (5)6-7, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the Toronto Masters.

The Australian had an unbeaten streak of nine games.
