PSD President Marcel Cholaku on Friday denied any internal discussions regarding the reshuffle of Defense Minister Vasile Dinka. Visiting PSD Bistrita, the organization that supported Vasile Dinka as defense minister, Čolaku said the reshuffle was a topic “nobody talked about.”

• “Who needs to be changed? Vasyl, have you changed your mind? But who announced personnel changes? Governments are being reshuffled. The Prime Minister said, have you announced any changes in the UDMR?
• I can’t promise you that there won’t be reshuffles, because it’s a natural thing. I told you that we have a topic that we talk about that no one has talked about. I did not speak on this topic and I see that Mr. Dynku is here with me and he has not been replaced. Why do we have to give an explanation?”, Çolaku continued, answering journalists’ questions about the possible reshuffle of the Minister of National Defense.

The leader of the SDP confirmed that the prime minister makes proposals for reshuffles.

• “This coalition is working, and we are all trying to make it work properly. I said very clearly: first of all, the prime minister is a sign of the evaluation of ministers. I am only the co-president of the coalition.
• A month ago, there was an assessment of ministers, where the prime minister did not make any proposal within the coalition regarding reshuffles.
• When there will be a reshuffle, after this debate begins primarily with the Prime Minister, I firmly believe that no one will keep a secret, but what I said very clearly and correctly at the end: reshuffles are part of political life and from public life,” said the PSD leader.

Along with Marcel Čolaku, Vasile Dinku and Radu Moldovan, president of PSD Bistrita, who supported the current defense minister for this position, were also present at the conference.

In addition, Radu Moldovan intervened in the discussion, clarifying that he asked the party about the possibility of replacing Vasile Dynka:
