Tsitsipas is playing in the Laver Cup for the third time, while Ruud was previously part of the European team. They will play alongside Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer.

“The Laver Cup is an event I enjoy participating in as I have the opportunity to team up with my rivals on the track and represent Europe playing against the best competition the rest of the world has to offer” – Stefanos Tsitsipas.

“I am proud to be part of this historic European team. It was an amazing experience competing in Boston and I can’t wait to have these incredible players as my teammates in London.” – Casper Ruud.

Team Europe will face Team Rest of the World (led by John McEnroe). It will include Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Diego Schwartzman and Jack Sock (two spots left).

The Europeans won the first four competitions (named after Australian tennis legend Rod Laver): Prague 2017, Chicago 2018, Geneva 2019 and Boston 2021.
