The leaders of the Coalition will meet on Wednesday in the Government to resolve some issues of the agenda of the executive power. According to the quoted sources, there is dissatisfaction with the funds allocated for finalizing the budget, the Ministry of Education receives the least.

Another issue that the Social Democrats want to clarify is the regulation of the energy market for household consumers. Liberals who refuse to rush to a regulated market do not look kindly on the PSD proposal. “Solutions are still being sought,” said the cited sources.

At the end of July, the Social Democrats publicly announced the need to resume discussions at the ruling coalition level regarding the application of energy and gas price regulation in Romania for a limited period. The Social Democrats are back with this request from the beginning of the year and say that economic and social reality demands it.
