Young Pakistani accused of her murder jailed 17-year-old Nicoleta in Peristeri. His pre-trial detention was the result of an agreement between the 25th Investigator of Athens and the competent public prosecutor.
According to the information, the defendant in the apology described his acquaintance with the young lady and tried to justify his heinous act, stating that everything happened during a fight.
He even tried to convey religious character in his confrontation with the victim, claiming that during the fateful conversation the question of how they would get married was raised, and the unfortunate girl – according to his own statement – asked him to be baptized a Christian.
However, he could not convince the judiciary of his heinous act and his cruel crime, since after the crime, the first thing he organized was his escape, taking all the things from the common house that they had with the victim, and leaving for Thessaloniki.
According to the information, the defendant denied that he was jealous of the unfortunate Nicoleta, but mentioned that he had found an apartment in Peristeri and that he and the 17-year-old’s mother paid the rent in half.
Earlier, the lawyer representing the defendants resigned, and a new lawyer was appointed, in whose presence he apologized to the 25th regular investigator of Athens.
