It is noted that those who have not yet applied for a gasoline allowance can do so until September 1.

The new fuel subsidy covers July, August and September, and this time, recipients can receive the money either on an intangible digital card or in their bank account. In the first case, the allowance is 15 euros higher.

It is worth noting that the beneficiaries already had to file their tax return before proceeding with the application, as 2021 income is taken into account. As it became known, they already have over a million applications have been submitted.

Application Process

Program beneficiaries submit their applications electronically through a special application using the registration codes of the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems (taxisnet / myaade).

The applicant completes and updates their contact information and, in particular, their email address and mobile phone number. If he chooses “Deposit to a bank account” as the method of provision, it is also necessary to fill in the IBAN of a personal bank account or an account in which the applicant is a beneficiary or co-owner. In addition, beneficiaries can apply at Local Citizen Service Centers (CSCs).

Subsidy amounts

The amount of assistance is determined on the basis of Article 67 of Law 4950/2022. In particular, for July, August and September 2022, the loan amounts to the following amounts:

  • one hundred (100) euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of vehicles, other than motorcycle mopeds, with the main residence in the regions of the North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, in the Regional Unit of the Attic Islands. , in the Sporades regional unit of the Thessaly region, in the Thassos regional unit of the East Macedonia and Thrace region, on the island of Samotraki in the Evros regional unit of the East Macedonia and Thrace region, and on the island of Ammouliani Chalkidiki Regional unit of Central Macedonia. The aforementioned amount is set at eighty-five (85) euros if the beneficiary decides to make a deposit to a bank account.
  • eighty (80) euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of vehicles other than motorcycle mopeds with a primary residence in the rest of Greece. The aforementioned amount is set at sixty-five (65) euros if the beneficiary decides to make a deposit to a bank account.
  • seventy (70) euros using a digital debit card for eligible motorcycle moped owners residing in the regions of the North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, in the Regional Unit of the Islands of the Attica Region, in the Regional Unit.
