North Macedonia has agreed to provide Ukraine with tanks and aircraft to help Ukraine fight the Russian invasion, Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said on Saturday, Reuters quoted.
“Today, many countries are showing more courage than half of the G20 (a group of 20 major economies). Like North Macedonia, giving Ukraine a shoulder of support in the form of tanks and planes,” Podolyak wrote on Twitter, adding that a friend in trouble is known.
A friend is known by difficulty. It doesn’t matter what your country or GDP is, what matters is what your heart is. Many people are showing more courage today than half of the G20. I’m North Macedonia, blown uD83CuDDFAuD83CuDDE6 shoulder in the form of tanks and planes. I will never forget it.

The defense ministry of North Macedonia, a small Balkan country, confirmed last week that it would supply Ukraine with Soviet-era tanks, but said nothing about the aircraft deliveries.
Armored road through Romania
About 10 heavy armored vehicles provided to Kyiv by North Macedonia transited through Romania to reach the country invaded by Russia, TVR News reported. Recently, the Ministry of Defense in Skopje announced that it will provide Ukraine with an unspecified number of T-72 tanks.
On Thursday afternoon, a convoy of several Soviet-made tanks was filmed in Bulgaria during a police escort on its way to the Giurgiu-Ruse Friendship Bridge.
A reserve general interviewed by TVR said after watching the video that the armored vehicles look like T-72s, Soviet tanks from the 80s.
Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense confirmed to TVR News that the tanks were indeed from North Macedonia, had passed through Bulgaria and were on their way to Romania.
