He was arrested on Wednesday afternoon (08.03.) by police officers of the Sub-Department for Investigation of Crimes Against Life and Property (YDEZI) of the Attica Security Directorate in cooperation with the officers of the Direct Action Police (Team DI.AS.), a 38-year-old foreigner for theft and attempted thefts in various parts of Athens.
In particular, the defendant broke into a supermarket, posing as a buyer, and stole liquor. A preliminary investigation revealed 19 thefts and three attempted thefts in different parts of Athens.
The detainee was taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office in Athens.
