
The e-filing option for sickness benefits extends to insured individuals who originate from former OAEE (self-employed), ETAA (self-employed) and ETAP-MME bodies. In particular, according to the EFKA administration, from now on, the insured persons of the former TAXI, ETAA-TSAV, ETAA-TSMEDE, ETAA-TYDA, ETAA-TYDP, ETAA-TYDTH, ETAP-Media (TAISYT, CHEYP, TATA), as well as European citizens and third country nationals.
As a reminder, until now, IKA-ETAM insured persons could apply for sickness benefits electronically.
With the expansion of this e-service, the personal presence of the insured in the services of the institution is canceled and long waiting times and inconveniences are eliminated, while, based on the design, applications for benefits will be processed faster so that the beneficiaries. At the same time, the authority said in a statement, thousands of man-hours will be freed up, thus removing a significant administrative burden on e-EFKA services.
