
After September 16, a new drawing of the program will take place “Tourism for all” so another 200,000 citizens will receive a €150 voucher, according to Deputy Minister of Tourism Sophia Zacharakis.
As Ms. Zaharaki mentioned to ANT1, the goal is to support domestic tourism. He added that there is a high trend towards travel to places of origin, however, he said, there is also a growing trend towards traditional destinations.
“Support programs such as social tourism and Tourism for All are also helping,” Ms Zaharaki said, adding that these programs will run until 2025.
The new lottery will affect those who have already applied while the corresponding platform was open.
It is noted that it was announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. doubling beneficiaries (from 200,000 to 400,000) under the Tourism for All program.
The lottery took place last week and the first 200,000 beneficiaries were finally announced.
