Both were taken to the hospital in an EKAV ambulance, and the circumstances under which the accident occurred are being investigated. Road police.

Meanwhile, a few days ago on the same road there was another accident involving a “pig”. Shortly after 17:00 on July 23, under unknown circumstances, a car traveling on the old national road at the height of Hersonissos collided with a “pig”, as a result of which the 25-year-old Dutch driver was seriously injured.

The young man was taken to Heraklion University General Hospital with multiple injuries all over his body and head. Recall that in March 2018, the Ministry of Transport introduced a bill prohibiting four-wheeled motorcycles with a volume of up to 125 cubic meters from moving on paved roads, except for crossing them vertically.

Following a reaction in July 2018, as amended, it was decided that each municipality would decide whether to allow four-wheeled motorcycles on the paved road network in its jurisdiction.
