
In the last 24 hours, 5,202 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Romania, and Health Minister Alexandru Rafila said that “the increase in the number of cases has been contained.”
4,158 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, of which 263 were in wards of the Public Health Service.
According to the data presented on Monday by the Minister of Health, 638 hospitalized are children, 5 of them are in intensive care.
Also, 12 deaths of some patients with COVID-19 were registered in the last day.
Over the past day, 2,209 PCR tests and more than 12,000 antigen tests were conducted.
In the last week, 57,138 cases of COVID-19 were registered, compared to 44,489 the previous week.
