
Elon Musk commented on the war situation in Ukraine on X, arguing that Kyiv’s decision to launch a counteroffensive was wrong and claiming that Russia would still make important territorial gains. In addition, the head of Tesla has several tips for the Ukrainian command regarding the tactical deployment of troops.
The counteroffensive was “a tragic loss of life for Ukraine while attacking a larger army that had deeper defenses, more minefields, and more powerful artillery.”
He noted that “a year ago, he recommended Ukraine to go into the trenches and direct all resources to defense.”
“There is no chance that Russia will conquer all of Ukraine, as local resistance will be extremely strong in the west, but Russia will certainly gain more ground than it has today,” he wrote, according to Sky News.
“The longer the war lasts, the more territory Russia will conquer until it reaches the Dnieper, which is difficult to cross. However, if the war lasts long enough, Odesa will also fall,” Musk said
He added that the question remains open whether Ukraine will lose all access to the Black Sea.
