PNL deputy from Alba Florin Roman, coordinator of the formation campaign in the local elections, announces that in the district of Alba the PNL will not form an alliance with the PSD in the local elections. A few days ago, Roman announced that the PNL is “fighting everyone” and “especially the PSD” in the local elections, writes News.ro.

“PNL Alba does not enter into an alliance with PSD in local elections, as long as this party is led at the local level by the unconventional couple Negrescu-Mureșan! We can win both CJ Alba and Alba Iulia City Hall on our own through our candidates Ion Dumitrel and Gabriel Plesh respectively. No PSD in Alba!” Florin Roman wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.

In a message published on Friday, Roman repeats the phrase “unconventional couple”, which he used several times when addressing the two leaders of the PSD Alba district branch, MEP Victor Negrescu and deputy prefect Corneliu Muresan.

The theme of PNL vs. PSD struggle in local elections is not new in Florin Roman’s public messages.

Two days ago, when it was announced that he would coordinate nationally the local elections for the PNL, Roman wrote that the PNL was “fighting everyone” and “especially the PSD” in the local elections.

“Today the National Political Bureau of the NLP appointed me to coordinate the local elections at the national level together with two other Liberals from Alba. Raresh Bohdan coordinates the European parliamentary elections, and Dan Motreanu coordinates the presidential elections. The first message to the liberals is that we go everywhere separately, except for Bucharest and the municipalities of the districts where USR mayors are in office. So we are all fighting, PSD included! Or especially with PSD, I say, in local elections!” Florin Roman wrote on Facebook on March 26.

He added: “During Ponta’s time there were also liberal mayors and we still won the presidential election! So courage, mobilization, valuable candidates and victory will be ours! I thank my liberal colleagues from the country for their trust!”.
