The youth football team of Romania won 1:0 in an away match against Armenia. The winning goal was scored late, in the 89th minute, the match took place within the framework of qualifying matches for Euro-2025.

Kristian Mihai (midfielder UTA Arad) scored in the 89th minute, the goal assist belonged to Konstantin Grameni (champion Farul).

After this success, Romania temporarily rose to the 1st place in Group E with 13 points. However, it should be noted that second-placed Switzerland have a less fierce match.
