The WTA 1000 tournament in Miami was left without big favorites to win the trophy, there were no such important names as Iga Svyatek, Arina Sabalenka or Koko Gauf in the quarter-final phase.

Iga Svyatek, Aryna Sabalenko and Coco Gauf eliminated before the WTA quarterfinals in Miami

WTA Miami has reached the quarterfinals and the big favorites are not in the women’s singles table.

Iga Sviatek (1) and Koko Kauf (3) were eliminated from the fight in the 1/8 finals, and Aryna Sabalenko was eliminated in the third round.

Svyatek lost to Russian Kateryna Alexandrova (4-6, 2-6), and Gauff was beaten after a tough match by Caroline Garcia (3-6, 6-1, 2-6).

A few days ago, the second favorite was also eliminated from Miami: Arina Sabalenko lost her match to Angelina Kalinina.

Only three players remained from the top ten favorites in the competition: Olena Rybakina (4), Jessica Pegula (5) and Maria Sakkari (9).
