Judd Trump (World No. 2) lived up to his status as the heavy favorite to win the World Open Snooker final in a clear manner, the Englishman defeating home favorite Ding Junhui (World No. 9) 10-4.

At the Yushan Sport Center, Trump fared much better in the final and managed to win the first three frames.

Ding (36 years old) also scored once on the scoreboard, and Judd “tied” four frames in a row and eventually took the lead with a decisive and at the same time unexpected 7-1.

Entering a period of slight relaxation, Trump allowed his opponent to entertain his fans at least a little (Ding is a real idol in China), and the score in the table slightly “narrowed” to 9-4.

However, the question of the winner did not particularly arise, and Judd closed the dispute (10-4) in frame #14 (the final was played according to the system of the best of 19 frames, that is, the first by 10).
