A friendly football match between the national teams of Russia and Paraguay, scheduled for Monday in Moscow, was canceled after an armed attack in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, for which the jihadist group “Islamic State” (IS) claimed responsibility and as a result of which 93 people were killed. “In connection with the attack that took place on Friday evening in a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow, the federations of Russia and Paraguay have decided to cancel the friendly match between the two teams,” – said the press release of the RFS.

The match, which was supposed to take place on Monday at Moscow’s Dynamo stadium, may be arranged later, RFS reports, according to Agerpres.
