Caroline Wozniacki lost to Angelina Kalinina in the second round in Miami

Caroline Wozniacki stopped in the second round of the WTA tournament in Miami.

Having reached the 129th place in the WTA hierarchy, the ex-world leader lost a three-set dispute with Angelina Kalinina (36th WTA), ending in three hours and 17 minutes.

In the third round, Kalinin will meet the winner of the duel between Paula Badosa (80 WTA) and Aryna Sabalenko (2 WTA).

The WTA 1000 category tournament will be held in Miami from March 19 to 31. Played on hard court, the main draw features 128 players and a total prize pool of $8,995,555. The champion of the overall title is Petra Kvitova (she is pregnant and will not participate in this year’s edition).
