​The youth national team of Romania under 19 lost to Turkey with a score of 0:2 in the first match of the elite tournament for qualifying for the 2024 European Championship.

Turkey U19 – Romania U19 2-0, in the Elite tournament

After a balanced first half, the students, coached by Adrian Dulcea, conceded at the end thanks to goals scored by Ayman Gulasi (min. 82) and Halil Ozdemir (90+2).

On March 23, the small tricolors will meet with Germany, and on March 26 – with Croatia.

All the winners of the elite group will go to Euro-2024.

Wales U17 – Romania U17 2-1, EC Qualifier

And the under-17 youth team made its debut with a defeat against Wales in the Elite Tour of the European Championship, which takes place in Mogoshoai, Buftea and Kyain.

Miles and Bostock scored for the Welsh, and Popa closed the gap for the boys coached by Nikolae Roshka.

In Romania U17, the next matches are against Bulgaria (March 23) and Sweden (March 26).
