Romania – Spain 33-40 in the minor final of the European Rugby Championship

After finishing second in Group B, Romania’s national rugby union team missed out on a place in the final, beating Georgia 43-5.

The Oaks got off to a good start in the third-place play-off against Spain, with Melinte (tense and conversion) and Simionescu (tense) taking the lead from the first quarter of an hour.

However, the Spaniards tied the match and led 21-12 at halftime.

The second half brought the “three colors” a boost after restoring the difference, but despite the efforts of Tomane, Konache or Mitu, Romania lost their chances for “bronze”.

The final between Georgia and Portugal will take place on Sunday from 22:00.
