Unfortunately, the offer of events is not so generous, but as we well know, in a city like Bucharest, there are many reasons to go.

You can drink coffee in one of the newest cafes in the city – Adam’s Coffee Wine Bar and much more… (Cornescu 2). It opened in early November, the coffee is from Guido, but the patio in the courtyard is the real star of this establishment. As the name suggests, you’ll also find plenty of wines here, as well as snacks that go great with a glass of Bacchus liqueur.

If we’re still in Floresca, for brunch in a cool place with a menu full of good things, stop by Ai Sushi Bar (Paris #71). This is a place where you can enjoy good sushi, but in a modern setting and atmosphere.

Sushi dishes are very popular here, even if the place itself is more like a cafe/bar. It’s worth checking out, especially if you want to go out with friends for sushi at a place that doesn’t necessarily look like a Japanese restaurant.

If you get hungry while walking through the Old Center, know that it opened here about two weeks ago Pasta Bigoli Fresca (Sheptsari 21), a pasta bar where Chef Serena prepares, dries and cooks pasta before your eyes. A portion costs 35-40 lei and you can also stay here for a glass of Select Spritz (Original Venetian Spritz from 1920).

Another recently opened institution in the city Bar theory (ital. 26). It’s a cocktail bar where you can end your night out on the town… or start it. Opened in an old building, the place has a speakeasy bar feel, the atmosphere is as cool as possible, and you can look at the menu here so you don’t get bored with the prices and names of the cocktails.

The ticket costs 65 lei.

Saturday and Sunday, Fr Excelsior “Pterodactyls” directed by Radu Jacoban is being performed.

“It’s a crazy comedy about people struggling with their own identity. The text, which seems to have been written by Ionesco’s cheeky son, is full of clichés that flow so naturally that you wonder if what you’re seeing is a comedy or a cringe-fest.

As in life, the characters talk to each other, but never listen to each other, and, as in life, they hide in the citadel of their minds, create projections or remain in the past, stubbornly refusing to see the immediate reality. .

The show is neither slapstick nor comedy, it is a grotesque family story. What does this have to do with the pterodactyls in the title? We would really like to clarify, but…” – writes Radu Yakoban. The ticket price is 50 lei.

As for movies, you can watch them in the cinema “Aisles”which tells the story of Thomas, a German filmmaker living in Paris (Franz Rogowski), who begins an intense and passionate affair with Agatha, a young teacher (Adele Exarchopolous).

For him, the experience of communicating with a woman is new and exciting, but when his partner Martin (Ben Whishaw) starts an affair of his own, things get complicated. Jealousy and suspicion gradually creep into their lives, creating a dangerous triangle where everyone wants what they can’t have.

A Romanian movie set during the pandemic is also hitting the big screens this weekend – “2020”. Two brothers, Max and Gelu, are determined to survive the Covid-19 pandemic that has swept through Italy.

The two leave the country and return to Romania, to their home village, where they believe they will be safe. Regardless of cost or means, Max and Gelu will be immune to the virus. Trying all the crazy and even dangerous treatments and cures spread by fake news, conspiratorial voices heard from neighbors, friends and even the local quack “doctor”, the brothers experience a real hell. But they will win.

It’s just that they seem to have forgotten one little thing that cannot be insured against – the Italian mafia.
