Brazilian Ronaldo is delighted with Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo, 47, has heaped praise on the Frenchman but is waiting for his move to become official before giving further details. “We have to wait for it to be official before we talk about it in detail, but everyone is excited about Kylian Mbappe in Madrid.

He is an incredible player. He will be one of the best players of his generation. I think it is a very good choice for him if he joins Madrid. I think he will finally get the Ballon d’Or if he moves to Real,” said the Brazilian.

Ronaldo also spoke of the Frenchman’s contrasting fortunes in recent weeks: Mbappe has been crucial in the Champions League but has been regularly on the bench since his intention to leave Paris at the end of the season emerged in the media.

“I don’t know what’s true, but people are talking about his situation at PSG. Of course, in Madrid he will have a team that will support him in every decision he makes. He will have a team to support him both on and off the pitch. They will protect him. But I think he felt very good at PSG,” Ronaldo said, according to News.ro.

The two-time Ballon d’Or winner concluded: “Of course, PSG made a big effort to keep him. He was a big star of the PSG project. But we’ll see what happens with Mbappe at Real Madrid. One thing is for sure, though, and that’s that we will get a lot more from Mbappe in the coming years.”
