An 8th grade high school student in Tirgu Mures, who was taken to the police in handcuffs after causing a ruckus at school, returned with his mother to the school where they threatened to kill the boy’s principal. A 15-year-old boy hit a teacher, who was later captured by the SMURD team, according to the Mureş District School Inspectorate (ISJ).

The incident happened on Monday at the Alexandru Papiu Ilarian National College in Tirgu Mures, where, according to the Mures County Police, around 10:00 a.m., school officials notified the police of a possible conflict that had occurred during a class. student of the eighth grade.

The police intervened and handcuffed the young man, then took him to the station and fined him 500 lei. The student returned to school from the ward.

The school inspectorate of the district specified, according to Agerpres, that after the blows received from the boy, his principal was taken over by SMURD.

• “Today, March 11, 2024, around 10:00 a.m., the teacher of class VIII A requested the principal’s intervention in this class. A student sat on a locker and protested an invitation to come out and attend class, citing that he had been repeatedly punished for his behavior.

• After the refusal and obscene language, the director asked the students to leave the class together with the teacher and go to the specialized laboratory.

• At this time, the student in question smoked a cigarette while sitting on the windowsill, and the laboratory is located on the second floor. Both the local police and the 112 emergency service were called.

• When the police crew arrived, the 8th grade student was on the first floor, and after a violent outburst, he was handcuffed and taken to a police car.

• Employees of the school security and protection police came to the college. After they left, the student returned with his mother, they waited for the principal in the corridor, threatened to kill her, and, in a fit of rage, the student hit her several times.

• Through the 112 dispatcher, the police team was called again, which took the schoolboy and his mother away.

• The conductor was transported to IML and SMURD.”

“The young man did not cooperate with the police, he was immobilized and taken to the Tirgu Mures police headquarters, where his mother was also invited to find out the facts and clarify the situation. At the scene, the police established that the same young man punched and kicked the teaching team, continuing to be disobedient,” the Mures police said.
