Khrystyna Pyshkova from the Czech Republic won the title of “Miss World” at the pageant held in India on Saturday evening. Yasmina Zaitoun from Lebanon became the first vice-champion out of 112 participants of the competition held in the capital of India, Mumbai.

“Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. It is a great honor for me to represent my country and the values ​​of beauty,” Pishkova said.

After former Miss World Karolina Bilyawska of Poland presented her with the crown, Pyszkova waved to the large crowd at the Jio World Convention Center and hugged some of the other contestants, Asian media reported.

The competition was held in India for the first time in 28 years. The hosts of the 71st Miss World beauty pageant were Bollywood director Karan Johar and Megan Yang from the Philippines, Miss World 2013.
