Serious incidents happened on Friday evening before the match between Dynamo and UTA. Dynamo fans fought with Steaua fans both near the stadium and in the arena. The fans came onto the field and used pyrotechnics, the Gendarmerie reports.

The General Directorate of Gendarmerie of the Municipality of Bucharest announced on Friday evening the incidents before the match “Dynamo” – “UTA” Arad at the “Arcul de Triumf” stadium, including the last stage of the regular season of the Super League. on News.ro

The Gendarmerie clarifies that the organizer of the match allowed the presence of other fans from Bucharest in the area designated for the gallery of the visiting team, but without the display of symbols other than those belonging to the FC UTA Arad team. Thus, during the movement of the CSA Steaua Bucharest team fans, between the Caşin tram station and the sports arena, they did not cooperate with the police, forced the gendarmes and used pyrotechnic materials, due to which the means of intervention with an irritant-tear substance from the gendarmes.

Also at the stadium before the start of the match, “Dynamo” fans, located on the Second Tribune, threw pyrotechnics at the visitors’ gallery located on the South Lawn. They entered the playing surface, challenging the visiting fans to participate in the scandal, as a result of which the latter descended from the lawn onto the playing surface, igniting the conflict. In order to settle the situation, the police intervened, and the fans of the two teams were dispersed to designated places.

No one was hurt.

“After reviewing the operational images, we will apply the necessary legal measures and return with additional information,” the gendarmerie of the capital added.
