Rivian opened the curtain on the Rivian R2 and Rivian R3 : if the first is a compact SUV that aims to compete with the Tesla Model Y, then the second is 100% electric compact crossoverwhich features everything to appeal to European customers.

Rivian R3: stylish and practical

THE Rivian R3 distinguished by its chunky appearance and striking black underbody protections, which contrast with a rather refined design, as evidenced by the door handles, as well as clear lighting. At the rear, the tailgate hides a rear window that can be opened independently, making it easier to load things into the trunk.

Few technical details have been revealed at the moment, but we already know that the Rivian R3 will be equipped with numerous driver assistance systems and opportunities autonomous drivingin particular, due to the presence of 11 cameras, 5 radars, as well as powerful software.
Several electric powertrains will be offered, with a single-motor rear-wheel drive version, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version, and an eventual three-motor version (two in the back and one in the front). . The Rivian R3 will be manufactured at the Rivian plant in Georgia, in the southeastern United States. It is expected to enter the market no earlier than this year 2027 year in our lands.
