As sigmalive reports, the authorities are checking to what extent the found money comes from the contributions of the faithful to the monastery. It all started about two months ago, when information about financial scandals, as well as scandalous behavior, which attracted the attention of Metropolitan Isaias, came to the Metropolitanate of Tamaska. On Tuesday afternoon, it became known that Metropolitan Isaias became aware of everything that happened in the monastery, and he ordered the monastery to be closed.

It seems that the directors of everything that happened in the monastery were two monks. The involved monks themselves asked for the catheterization, which was supposed to happen during Friday’s meeting of the Holy Synod, which is meeting on an emergency basis to consider the problem, which is considered extremely serious. It is expected that heads will fall and all those involved in the scandal will be punished. The monastery will remain closed and under the supervision of the Metropolis of Tamasos until the problem is resolved.
