Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), winner of the world championship title in the last two seasons, is the main favorite this season as well.

Drivers will compete in two races each weekend, just like last year: a sprint on Saturday followed by the traditional Grand Prix on Sunday.

In Romania, MotoGP races will be broadcast on Digisport and Prima Sport channels (as in 2023).

Television rights for 2024 include practice, qualifying, sprint races and the race itself.
