The last leg of the regular season in the Romanian Super League will take place on March 8-11, and the LPF management is in a difficult position with five matches scheduled for Friday from the same time.

The LPF does not have enough VAR systems to cover all Friday matches in the Romanian Super League

The final stage of the regular season in the Romanian Super League starts on Friday, with 5 games scheduled from 20:00:

CFR Cluj – Germanstadt

Dynamo Bucharest – UTA Arad

FC Botosani – Farul Constanta

FC Voluntari – University of Cluj

Petrolul Ploiesti – Sepsi OSK

According to GSP, the Romanian Professional Football League only has 3 VAR systems, which means it will not be able to cover the 5 games scheduled for Friday.

To solve this problem, the quoted source mentions that EAD, the owner of the TV rights, and LPF are considering renting two more cars that are equipped with the VAR system in the other countries they cooperate with.

If a resolution is not reached by Wednesday, the Pro Football League will have to announce which two games will not benefit from video refereeing.

Hermannstadt, UTA Arad, Farul Constanta, Universitat Cluj and Sepsi (if Voluntariul wins on Monday) are competing for a place in the playoffs.
