Second seed Baez defeated Alejandro Tabilo in three sets 3-6, 6-0, 6-4.

Thanks to the triumph in Santiago, Sebastian rose to 19th place in the ATP ranking (the best ranking in his career).

The Argentine has five more titles: Estoril (2022), Córdoba, Kitzbühel, Winston-Salem (2023) and Rio de Janeiro (2024). The most important is the one obtained in Brazil (ATP 500).
