The largest park in the city, created with European funding on a 1.6-hectare plot of land, was opened on Saturday in Brasov, in the area known as “La iepure”.

Brasov City Hall says that this is the largest park created by the municipality in the last 15 years.

On an area of ​​more than 16,000 square meters, with non-refundable funding from the European Union, the city hall equipped a green area with footpaths, gazebos, swings, playgrounds, exercise equipment, exercise bikes and routes for a pump track. , bicycle and electric car rental.

In the largest part of the park, covering an area of ​​14,000 square meters, irrigated green spaces have been laid and about 400 trees have been planted, to which are added green spaces, grassed or planted with flowers and ornamental shrubs.

According to Brasov City Hall, bicycle and electric car rental is free. Rental schedule, at the moment, 10.00 – 17.00, every day.
