A man from Cluj blackmailed Sabeu, but he was sentenced to three years in prison with a suspended sentence.

In 2019, the daughter of a former football player decided to renounce her father’s religion, which is part of Jehovah’s Witnesses. And the girl recorded a clip in which she allegedly presented some of the negative aspects of this cult. And the clip ended up in the hands of a man from Cluj.

And in 2023, the man began blackmailing the coach of Cluj University. In February 2023, the man followed Sabe home. Later, a day later, he found him again and talked to him, asking him to buy a plot of land worth 25,000 euros. Instead, he offered verbal assurances that he would not publish the video, evz.ro reported.

Sabau decided to go to court and won the case. The man was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment with suspension.
