Farul Constanta escaped victory against CFR Cluj despite dominating Ovidio’s game.

At the 23rd minute of the game, the Constantinians had a double opportunity to open the scoring. Rivaldinho tripped at the moment of the shot and Lui Munteanu was blocked at the last moment.

Seven minutes later, Munteanu went wide again to open the scoring, but his shot on the goal line was saved by Ayeti.

The CFR goalkeeper intervened to save another shot by Luis Munteanu.

In the second half, Adrian Mutu’s side came close to scoring through Christy Manea, but Buzbucci saved his effort.

In the 65th minute, Ronaldo Diacona scored 1:0 after a good shot by Luis Munteanu.

In the 83rd minute, Aetiya restored the tie with a superb strike from a corner kick.
