
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte signed a security agreement with Ukraine on Friday in Kharkiv and said the Netherlands would help finance the delivery of 800,000 artillery shells. Rutte met President Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a surprise visit to the northeastern city, just 40 km from the Russian border, and became the seventh Western leader to sign a 10-year security deal with Ukraine in the past two months.

08:43As a result of an attack by a Russian drone on the city of Odesa, two people were killed and at least seven were injured, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported on March 2, writes The Kyiv Independent.
Among the seven victims is a three-year-old boy who is currently hospitalized with a leg injury. Other victims include a pregnant woman and a 26-year-old woman in critical condition.
It is reported that the drone crashed into the ninth floor of a high-rise building. Two people were found dead, buried under the rubble. According to Klymenko, seven more people are considered missing under the rubble of the building.
Another attack by a Russian drone took place in the Kharkiv region, where a man died, local authorities reported.
