Romania – Croatia 26-24 (13-11) in preliminary matches of the European Women’s Handball Championship
After decisive successes against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece, the tricolors defeated Croatia in the game, which took place at the Teraplast Arena in Bistrica.
Florentin Pera’s men had a good first half and led by two goals at halftime (13-11).
In the second half, the Croatians acted more aggressively, but the tricolors managed to defeat the main contender for the first place in the group.
Rapida center Lorena Ostase was in excellent form, scoring eight goals.
In the next game, Romania will face Croatia away on Sunday, March 3 at 18:00.
