In the composition of Amalia Kovaliu, Anastasia Fusea, Denisa Sherban and Amalia Stan, Romania successively defeated Spain (45-33) and Bulgaria (45-35) before the semi-finals, but then lost to Hungary (25-45). In the final, Hungary defeated France with a score of 45:44.

At last year’s European Junior Championships in Tallinn (Romania), three medals were won: the Romanian men’s saber team consisting of Kasian Cidu, Vlad Kovaliu, Michnea Enake and Radu Nitsu won gold medals, Amalia Stan won bronze in the individual saber competition. , and Kasian Sidou also won a bronze medal in the individual saber competition.
