
On Monday, there was an explosion in the hospital of the city of Ploiesti. The explosion was not accompanied by a fire, but an 80-year-old woman received burns, writes News.ro.
ISU Prahova reports on Monday about an explosion and fire in the interior of the infectious disease hospital in Ploiesti – Movila Hospital.
“The patient, approximately 80 years old, received burns. She is the only victim, she is conscious, with burns on approximately 50% of her body surface,” ISU Prakhova reports.
The source reported that a mobile resuscitation is on its way to the scene.
“Also, 3 fire trucks, SMURD ambulance and the first operational and command vehicle were dispatched,” the source said.
Currently, the exact circumstances of the outbreak have not been established.
In 2021, two people died after a fire in the same hospital.
