Of the 827,393 employees of the central state administration, 608,152 worked in institutions that are fully financed from the state budget (plus 5,745 employees compared to January 2023).

The largest number of occupied positions were recorded in the Ministry of Education, respectively 302,040 (294,930 in January 2022), the Ministry of Internal Affairs – 123,808 (125,548 at the beginning of last year), the Ministry of National Defense – 72,658 (73,387 in January 2022). According to the source, in institutions fully financed from the social insurance budget, 9,279 positions are filled (plus 1,054 compared to January 2023), in institutions subsidized from the state budget and from the unemployment insurance budget – 43,886 (plus 255). , while 166,076 positions (plus 2,614) were filled in institutions fully financed by own revenues.

At the same time, in December 2023, 465,166 people (plus 3,896) worked in local government bodies, of which 285,065 were in institutions fully financed from local budgets (plus 4,010), and 180,101 were in institutions financed at their own expense of receipts (minus 114). ).
