Okay, I put your head through the electronic door. This is the weekly “Panorama from the ALP” newsletter, to which we invite you to subscribe. I am Andrej Luka Popescu (ALP), journalist and deputy editor-in-chief of Panorama. Once a week I tell you about a topic that I think is worth your attention, or that just annoys me enough that I want others to know. I am waiting for your suggestions and wishes here.

I admit that I was among those who initially believed that an aggressive step of this scale has no rational, military sense, and that this is yet another demonstration of power, to which Putin has already accustomed us. I even remember knowledgeable people close to the leading circles of Kyiv who thought the same.
