Daniel Yancu, a historian, researcher and writer from Deva, says his neighbors on the block complained to the homeowner’s association that he kept too many books in the house and that the block “could collapse because of them,” according to a local paper. newshd.ro.

In a post on his Facebook page, Daniel Janku wrote:

  • “Neighbors complained about me to the HOA that I have too many books… and because of my books, the block could collapse!”

He assured those who commented on the post that he was not joking and that there was a complaint against the HOA. “It would be funny if it wasn’t true,” Daniel Janku wrote in response to the comment.

Daniel Janku (50 years old) works at the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization in Deva. He is a graduate of the Faculty of History and Archeology of the University “December 1, 1918” of Alba-Iulia. Author of several volumes of history and reports.
