Manchester United – Fulham 1-2, in the Premier League – “Devils”, defeat in the seventh additional minute

Although Erik ten Heg’s side seemed to have found their rhythm after winning in the latter stages, Fulham sprung a surprise right at Old Trafford.

The guests opened the scoring only in the 65th minute after Bessey’s powerful shot from the penalty area.

United equalized in the penultimate minute of regulation thanks to Maguire’s header after goalkeeper Leno failed to clear.

But it was the seventh minute of added time and Fulham broke through through Iwobi, who finished Traore’s superb counter-attack with a short right-hand corner.

The defeat leaves Manchester United out of the European Cup places. In case of victory, the “devils” would be level on points with Tottenham.
